How To Shrink A Partition or Volume With Disk Managemet

Today i am going to talk about  how to shrink a partition. It is often seen that people find difficulty in this,after installing operating system like win7 , if they don't make partitions during installation of operating system.So don't worry it is not difficult as you think. Lets start

STEPS

1. Open Disk Management by writing in window search menu.
2. Select any drive or partition you want to shrink and then right click on it like this
   
   

   
   
   
   
3. Now there are different option as shown above , select shrink volume , shrink window will appear
   
   
   
4. Enter the amount of space in MB ( 1GB = 1024MB) to shrink the partition or voulme by to be used by new unallocated empty space, then press shrink. Its done.
